KUCHING: The annual Sarawak Career & Internship Fair which took place at Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus which provided opportunities for prospective employees to explore suitable job options available and gain insights into the background of participating companies.
The one-day event was held at the university’s Multi-Purpose Hall from 10am to 4pm. Visitors at the fair had the chance to speak directly to the respective employers and find out more about qualifications and attributes the employers are looking for in hiring the ideal candidates.
Current students were also able to enquire about internship placements and training programmes that suit their education background, skills and interest. Furthermore, a number of companies offered on-the-spot applications and also conducted face-to-face interviews.
